I don’t write short stories very often because it’s a challenge of it’s own: in a short story, you have to develop characters in a shorter span of time and get your point across quickly. Although it is just a condensed version of a novel, it seems to have more expectations. Below are short stories that I have worked on. I’ll warn you now that my stories may contain foul language and/or themes most appropriate for adults.
Note: I don’t carelessly use foul language–it is for a purpose, whether it adds to the story, helps develop a character, is something that sets the tone, characterizes the narrator, etc.
